FAQs

Metamon Manager plays automaticaly on Metamon Island. For me, this is very useful on days in which I do not have a lot of time and desire to play with my beloved Metamons. Especially people with a large number of Metamons could benefit.

In addition, the website allows you to collect statistics/results of your battles. This can be used to examine the individual Metamons, for example with respect to the win-rate or the number of generated egg fragments.

Yes, the website is safe to use. It is open source (Source code). The developer is indicated in the imprint and is not anonymous (like in many crypto projects).

Furthermore, let me bring some more arguments: When using a wallet such as MetaMask, you are informed about any request a Dapp is trying to make (e.g. connecting to the wallet, approving to spend some coins, ...). You are in control of what information is provided to the website!

To use the features on the website, Metamon Manager only requires (i) your wallet address (that owns the Metamon NFTs) and (ii) a signed login message. The latter is required to identify you are the owner of the wallet and are allowed to login to Metamon Island using the API.

With your wallet address and a signed login message, the website can connect to Metamon Island but cannot perform any malicious activity (such as transferring tokens from your wallet). If theoretically, it would try to steal some tokens from your wallet, you are notified about it and can reject it.

To provide you statistics of your battles, the website will store information on your Metamon and battles performed on the website. This is required to provide you the information under Battle statistics.

If you do not wish so, you can uncheck the checkbox "Save statistics" and no data will be stored. Of course, then the battle statistics will not show these battles or that progress on your Metamon.

If you wish to have all your data deleted, please contact me via Email and I will delete it.

I suggest modern browsers such as a recent Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Edge, or Safari. There may be problems with older versions of the Internet Explorer.

Reload the page and retry it. Log out and in again, and try again. If the problem persists, let me know about it with a detailled description of the problem and the browser (name and version) you are using.

If you are missing a feature, please let me know about it. I am always looking forward to feedback and the more people mention a feature, the higher the probability I will implement it ;-)
